Getting Things Fixed Up and Meeting Old Neighbours.

Our Location today is at Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

Not wanting to oversleep we set the alarm for 8:30 this morning and it was a good thing we did. It took me close to a minute to unhook my CPAP Machine then get around the bed to shut it off. Kathy figured that if she pulled the covers over her head she wouldn’t have to wake up. That was when she discovered the Ceiling Light does penetrate the Bedcovers at least a bit.

Karen was still home when we got upstairs for breakfast. The office knew she had a doctor’s appointment so she’d be late. Her Friend would be coming around noon today so we didn’t have to stay around and wait.

We headed back to VitalAire around 10:00. When we checked the CPAP Supplies we picked up the other day they supplied Kathy with the wrong sized Pillows for her Mask. The packages showed the correct size but the Pillows inside were marked smaller and just looking at them you could see they had much smaller openings.

We went back to our Climate Controlled Storage Unit at Guardian Storage this morning. We were hoping to find the Cordless Phones we had stored in 2016 but no matter which container we opened we had no luck. After spending nearly an Hour we packed it in and stopped to pick our Mail up on the way out.

We made a quick stop at Princess Auto to check if they might have had any Phones in their Surplus Section but they didn’t.

It was noon hour so we went to Arby’s because we had just gotten coupons for them in our Mail. We each had one of their new Greek Gyros for lunch. They were satisfying and not overfilling like those burgers we had last night.

The next stop was Walmart. We picked up some Plumbing Supplies to fix a problem we found last night at our daughter’s. We found a set of Cordless Phones that had rechargeable NiCad Batteries for our Home Phone. The set we presently have needs new Batteries that cost more than this new set of Phones. We also picked up a few Groceries before heading back to Karen’s

As soon as we were back at Karen’s I set up our Turbo Hub which gives us our Home Phone. Now we can again start using our Home Phone Number as a reference especially for our Doctor’s Appointments.

We were supposed to pick Tyler up at his Co-op School Shop but since they were on a job close to his home they dropped him off before going back to the shop. Tyler likes to learn things so I had him help to make the Plumbing Repair. I’ve had to do that kind of job so many times he was surprised to see how easy it was.

For our supper Kathy fried up some slices of Ham to go with the Eggs and Toast she made up.

We watched the 6 o’clock Local News before heading out to find some Pie Pans. We went to Dollarama and got some Aluminum Pans, then to Home Hardware to get a Door Stopper and finally Zehrs grocery store in an attempt to find more solid pans. We ended up meeting a couple we knew from our time in the apartment.  They are planning a trip to Hawaii for their Anniversary at this time but would be interested in RVing in the future.

We arrived back at Karen’s just as she was getting Home. Thanks for following along, feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.

  1. It is good that Tyler is wanting to learn new things. In todays world it really costs a lot to hire people to repair anything.

  2. May I send my husband to your house to be a repair helper? His father never taught him a thing about repair. He's almost 70 so may need a few breaks in the day!!!😉

  3. Wow you two are always on the go. I know you won't find me out after 6 on an evening, especially if I've had dinner. Wish I had your energy! Your getting things done for sure. Nice that you were able to teach Tyler and he wants to learn. That's awesome!
