Keeping Warm To Sleep, Looking For Blogger Friends and Blogger Fest Reminder.

Our Location today is La Posa South L.T.V.A., Quartzsite, Arizona, U.S.A.

Last night’s temperatures weren’t as cold as Monday night but Kathy showed me a little trick to keep myself warmer and it worked. The only drawback was that I didn’t see the start of the Sunrise. It was just by chance that I woke exactly at 8:00 MST. I knew Kathy wouldn’t get out from under the warm bedsheets if the room was cold so I just turned the Furnace on before going around to open the Window Shades.

Once everything was ready for breakfast I started changing the “O” Rings in our Drinking Water Jugs. Due to the Plastic Spigots breaking off so easily I replaced them with Brass Valves but they would leak at the base. I put new “O” Rings plus a Flat Washer but the “O” Rings just didn’t have enough thickness to them. The “O” Rings that I purchased at Auto Zone fit perfectly and to say that I was happy that they no longer leaked after testing them would be an understatement.

Once Kathy was up the Furnace was shut off. The temperature cooled a bit but with the Sun warming the windows it was quite comfortable. It was another Two Cup morning while getting our reading done at the Computers. Kathy spent a bit more time researching Recipes for some snacks that we’ll be bring to this weekend’s Blogger-Fest. She wasn’t sure of a practical way to serve them but with a little input from the other half of the team that was resolved. We took inventory of the stock we had on hand and made a Shopping List of things to get.

I warmed up Chicken with Wild Rice Soup for lunch and added Mixed Fruit Yogurt for a dessert. We took the time to clean up our dishes before heading out.
This Wash is deeper then the Truck is tall.
Yesterday we had been invited to stop and Visit with Jim and Barb as well as Steve and Debbie along with Steve and Diane from Canada but we were away. Knowing where Jim and Barb like to park here at La Posa South that was the direction we headed in. We looked there with no luck, we looked down the road again with no luck we finally wandered a bit further then we wanted when Kathy noticed some of the RVers were outside A-La Natural.
Climbing Out.
Thinking that maybe the gang had moved we headed in to Quartzsite to the Roadrunner grocery store. Bit by bit we found the ingredients that we needed for this Saturday’s Blogger-Fest. We also cheated by getting ourselves an Ice Cream Snack that we ate on our way Home.
Almost out.
After getting things put away at the trailer I drove over to Wayne and Sue’s Trailer. We still had a Full Fresh Water Barrel that we had gotten to ride out the Government Shutdown was tied in the back of the Truck. By helping to fill their Fresh Water Tank it will be easier for me to lower the liter Barrel to the ground.

Kathy was starting to feel her Congestion building again later this afternoon so she finally took one of the actual Mucinex Tablets we got at the Drug Store in Blythe yesterday. She also had me creating special little Tags she’ll be using when she does here Gift Wrapping for our Merry Thanksmas.

For supper we grilled some All-Beef Ball Park Franks on our Weber Q. Tonight’s Showers were not Wasteful nor were they Conservative and we enjoyed them. Have to use some of that water up.

Checking our Comments this evening, Jim said they’ve walked by our trailer a few times. Tomorrow we have a Luncheon Date and we’ll be having a Campfire in the evening so hopefully we’ll see them there. Sounds like a busy day.

If you’ve noticed the mention of the Fourth Annual Blogger Fest will be taking place at La Posa South LTVA at the Pavilion between 1-4 pm. There will be signs after you enter the LTVA. 1. Bummer you did not find us! But if you were in the A-La Natural area you would definitely not find us there!

We are NNE of you a couple hundred yards of you, NNW of the trash bins. If we don't see you before Saturday I am going to try and make it to Bloggerfest.

  3. Beautiful sunset photos. I knew I should have been alert but I got sidetracked and missed it.

    Hope Kathy feels better soon.

There are so many RVs in the LTVA areas it's hard to find anyone.
