Jayco Concerns Sent.

Our Location today is McGregor, Ontario, Canada.

Even though we went to bed after midnight last night I was still up by 7:30 this morning. I turned my Computer on even before all the Window Shades were opened so that I could check The Weather Network to know how hot the day would be even before having our breakfast. It was no surprise that at that time the Humidex was already reading 90 F (32 C) and it would only get warmer.

Kathy managed to sleep until 8:00 because she had struggled with Sinus Congestion that kept her awake for a couple of hours. The fact that her CPAP Mask is what is referred to as a Nose Pad Mask meant that because of the congestion she was not able to breathe through her nose.

Once we’d eaten breakfast we brought our Coffee/Tea over to the Computers to get our morning reading finished. It just seemed that we were getting things accomplished but time was just flying by.
French toast with Maple Syrup and Strawberries for dessert.
Kathy wanted something different for lunch and at the same time she wanted to clean up the fridge so she set about making French Toast along with Strawberries for dessert.

More E-Mail arrived after lunch that needed to be answered before we could get down to other business. We had started to compose a Draft the other day that we want to send to Jayco concerning our upcoming repairs at their Factory Repair Center. We both read it over making certain we had covered everything we wanted to say and making certain that it could only be taken as we intended. We’d make changes, then read it again only to make more changes. Once we were certain it was the best we could do we saved it twice. The first time as a Word Document then as a PDF File so we knew that it would not be modified anywhere along the way.

We even reviewed the E-Mail Draft that we were sending to Leisure Trailer. With the PDF File attached it was off shortly after 4:00. When I checked my E-Mail again five minutes later Stephanie had confirmed everything had been Forwarded to the Jayco Customer Service representative that she has been dealing with. Now we’ll just wait for a response.
Salad a shared Baked Potato and Meatloaf
along with a Fruitcup for dessert.
Kathy was in a creative mood today so she made Meatloaf and a Baked Potato to go with a Salad for our supper. It all tasted wonderful and there is more Meatloaf to make up some Sandwiches in the next day or so. As soon as we’d finished eating we worked together washing the dishes.

The Weather Guessers showed today’s Humidex only reached 102 F (39 C) and should be the same tomorrow before we finally get to fall like temperatures. I don’t mind working in warm temperatures but these have been way beyond comfortable. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!

  2. Do you think they'll just give you a brand new trailer? I don't envy you unpacking everything again while they make repairs. I sure hope they do it in a quick fashion.

  3. I've been having below freezing temps here in Northern Arizona. I am above 6000' elevation, though.

  4. Hope that all the repairs get approved and finished in a timely manner. Not fun getting all the bugs out of an RV! ;c)

  5. Our Open Range is now owned by Jayco. We bought this unit in April 2016. Nothing but trouble. Two springs hangers broke. Shower has fallen apart. Fiberglass at corner of bedroom slide split, repaired twice, broken again. Heater been worked on twice. Inverter to fridge sometimes works sometimes not. Been worked on at 3 different shops. Approximately 6 x 3 foot area of floor in kitchen is rotted and sinking and area of softness is growing. Goes to Indiana in November. Hoping they junk the thing. It is junk. If you are having issues, hoping yours is taken care of to your satisfaction. Aggravation isn't it?
