Better Sleep. Working On The Computers and Nice Visit.

Our Location today is McGregor, Ontario, Canada.

With the temperature dropping down to 52 F (11 C) last night neither of us wanted to be as cold as the night before so we decided to sleep with our Bed Cover on. It took a few minutes before our body temperature warmed the linen sheets but the next thing we knew it was morning and time to get up. The inside temperature was showing 55 F (13 C) so we even put on our Housecoats to stay warm.

After having a larger then normal helping of cereal for breakfast along with two cups of Coffee we spent most of the morning working on our Computers doing various things.

With dinner plans made for supper this evening we didn’t want to overeat so Kathy simply split the Leftover Waldorf Salad into two bowls and we ate that while sitting at our Computers. Thinking that wasn’t quite enough we had the last two muffins that were stored in our Breadbox. Around 3:00 I packed away our Computers which really opens up the living room for when company comes to visit.

Around 4:00 I moved the truck over to one of our neighbour’s sites who hasn’t been here all season thus opening up a second parking spot on our site. At 4:30 we were headed out of the Park towards Essex where we were meeting our friends Gerry and Sandy at the Michigan Dinner for supper.

Since they were driving all the way from Amherstburg we managed to arrive a few minutes before them and simply sat in the car to wait. They still pulled in with five minutes to spare so after we got our Hugs and Handshakes out in the Parking Lot we headed in for our meal. Even though it wasn’t Friday everyone ordered a variance of the Halibut Fish and Chips off the Seniors Menu. The conversation never stopped the entire time we were there.

Heading back to Wildwood Golf and RV Park they followed us to our new site. They had visited us before at our old location but never here. We gave them a quick tour showing them what we have accomplished at this point and explaining what other plans we have for the future. Inside we got caught up on what’s been happening in all our lives as well as talking about things from our pasts. Soon it was going on 9:00 and they had to get ready to leave because their puppy Star would be needing to go out soon. We always have lots of fun with them and we’ll try to get together again before we head south in less then two months. Thanks for the nice visit Gerry and Sandy!

Still not sure what we are doing tomorrow but we’ll be busy. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.

Words of Inspiration

Life is real! Life is earnest! And the grave is not a goal; Dust thou art, and unto dust shall thou return, was not spoken of the soul.
