Looking Around and Not What We Wanted To Hear.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario, Canada.

Even though we had set the alarm for 8:00 this morning but we were dressed and heading to the Front Lobby Breakfast Area by that time. There were only a few other couples when we arrived but as we sat eating the place suddenly filled up.

Back at our room we took our morning meds before getting comfortable in front of the Computers. Between reading and making plans for the day we were on our way out the door by 10:00.

Our first stop was at Guardian Storage to pick up our Mail.

We next stopped at Motor City Credit Union to do some banking.

Heading across the street to Walmart we ordered a ¼ Slab Cake as a way of marking a small celebration we’ll be attending on Saturday. We also walked around looking for disposable Plates, Napkins and Forks to make it easier to share but chose a different option. We only walked out with a case of Bottled Drinking Water.

We drove over to the nearby Dollarama where we got the Plates, Napkins and Forks at a much lower cost.

It was only 11:30 by this time and since we haven’t been to Value Village in quite some time we went to look around. Kathy managed to get Five Murder Mystery Books for the cost she would have paid for a single book at Walmart.

By now we were starting to feel slightly hungry so we went to Arby’s to have lunch. We both enjoyed one of their Roast Beef Sandwiches and were very satisfied.

It was slightly after 1:00 when we got back to the Hotel. Since it was starting to warm up I got Kathy back to our room before bringing in our purchases. Checking the phone for messages we had a message from Stephanie at Leisure Trailer. We were hoping that she was calling to say the trailer was ready for pick up so when I called her back and she was busy I immediately requested leaving her a Voice Message.

Stephanie called back by 1:30 and needed to double check what some of the issues were. Then she dropped the Bomb. Even with the crew she’s had working on our trailer for the last week it won’t be ready until the Weekend. We both felt like we had just been hit with a Baseball Bat.

After getting off the phone we had to go to the Registration Desk to see if we would be able to extend our stay. So far we are good until Friday as long as there’s no more Bombs. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!

  3. I never believe them when they say it's going to be DONE. It just doesn't ever seem to work out that way. If it does, I'm pleasantly surprised!!
