Neither of us had any problems sleeping
last night with all the fresh air we had while walking around downtown
Nashville yesterday. Kathy headed off to bed before I’d finished uploading only
a few of the nearly four hundred that we shot throughout the day. Even for
myself when I finally got to bed the only thing I remembered was seeing the sun
seeping around the edges of the blinds.
With everything that had been going on
this past week we considered this a day for tying up the loose ends. When Jayco
added a second clothes bar in our closet they didn’t properly allow for the
height of hangers used in buildings and the length of clothes. When we went to
the Camping World in Belleville, Michigan we found the perfect hangers that
would solve our problem by bringing the clothes two inches closer to the bar.
Kathy only bought one package so as to try them before buying more in case they
wouldn’t work. On Sunday when we went to the Nashville location she again didn’t
get more hangers because she hadn’t tried the others yet. This morning she
tried the hangers and found they worked well but she had other things to do so
she sent me by myself. I only came back with a single package because someone
else emptied their shelf of those hangers this morning.

We had an issue with our Credit Cards
being Locked on us this past Saturday because they were being used outside of
Ontario. Due to previous winter travels the one company told us we didn’t need
to notify them when we travel but we still had an issue. We managed to get
through to all but one of our Credit Card Companies so today we had to get them
off our list. They had a hard time understanding why we weren’t calling from
our Home phone number. Kind of hard when you are hundreds of miles south but we
finally got that straightened out and the card unlocked. As mentioned on
Saturday it was our fault for not calling before but we were non-stop with
things to do before leaving.

I attempted doing some updating on the
GPS while we still have an unlimited WiFi connection. Every time you go to the
Rand McNally site and hit to update you are brought to a commercial site trying
to sell their products and services. After two hours of trying to get around that
the GPS still needs to be updated.

Since I do our medication for more than
a week at a time I set up shop at the dining room table this afternoon and got
us all secured for a while. The entire process took nearly three hours but now
we are good for six and a half weeks.

On Saturday, there was a comment about
traveling with such a big trailer. Our trailer is forty and a half feet long
with the Bicycle Carrier adding thirty inches once the lights are installed
then you add the truck. Overall we are sixty-three feet long Bumper to Bumper.
For some that may be long but I’ve never had an issue with trailer lengths. You
also have to consider that we don’t just travel in our trailer but it is our
Home since we started Fulltiming this past April.

This evening we were back in Nashville
where we both scratched attending a show of the Grand Ole Opry off our bucket
lists but the best part was that we saw it where it all began at the Ryman
Auditorium. Since it has been a very long time since either of us have seen the
Grand Ole Opry there were many new faces and names that we had not heard
before. The Show openers were Jeannie Seely, Tucker Beathard, the Granddaughter
of legend Hank Williams, Holly Williams, the Del McCoury Band, The Whites and
finally Craig Morgan. The lead act turned out to be none other than the Oak
Ridge Boys who still had the entire auditorium clapping time and singing along
when they broke into chorus for Elvira. After the band left the stage the Boys
sang an unexpected melody that the audience gave a standing ovation to.

When we came out the forecasted rain was
falling but everyone took it in stride. We were quite wet by the time we got to
the truck three blocks away but it is only water.
Tomorrow we’ll be back on the road not really sure where we’ll be ending up at for the night. Thanks
