Staying Put, But Keeping Busy.

Our Location today is McGregor, Ontario, Canada.

For the second night in a row we had to sleep with the Air Conditioner running. Even at 11:00 at night just opening the door felt like a blast from a furnace hitting you. That is not the way we like to sleep and it showed by the number of times that we woke up through the early morning hours. Even having the thermostat set for 77 F (25 C) the A.C. cycled off very few times throughout the night.
Breakfast was pancakes with leftover Strawberries.
By 9:00 this morning the outside temperature was 84 F (28 C) but with the lack of a breeze and the bright sunshine the Humidex was nearly at the Century mark. After finishing our inside chores watering the grass and outdoor plants were taken care of before I took the time to check all the car’s fluid levels making certain they were up to par. Due to the truck not being here at Home I looked unsuccessfully for a particular tool in hopes that it might have been in one of the other tool boxes. That means another of the jobs that has to be completed before we head to the southwest this fall was put on hold.
Lunch was leftover Sloppy Joes with oranges bought last week
along with the muffin.
Kathy made certain that she went through the fridge today so that none of the food she had prepared would spoil. She hates it when that happens because that is the same as throwing away our money. When Kathy uses leftovers she always recreates the dish so that you never realize what it is and it is always delicious. That is definitely not the way my mother or late wife ever did it. You knew you were eating leftovers and it tasted that way.

Yesterday when we spoke to Jim at Windsor Gas and Diesel he told us about the Code Reader giving a fault number but when he tried looking it up there was no reference to it. When he contacted Ford Motor Company about the code they had never heard about it. We still haven’t heard back from him today so we can only keep our fingers crossed that it will be an easy fix.
Supper was leftover Penne with meat sauce and Caesar Salad.
Kathy spent most of the day doing more research while I busied myself at the computer making data entries for future reference. We know that tomorrow will be a lot busier. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!

  1. With all this spare time, I bet you're working on the map and your first trip south as a full-timer.
