But It All Looked So Good!

Our Location today is McGregor, Ontario, Canada.

With all the temptation on the See-Food table last night it was easy to resist, for a minute or two. As the conversation and laughter progressed so did the snacking a little bit here a little bit there. When you are nibbling like that you only believe it’s just a little bit. When you finally relax at Home the sensation finally hits you “Why did I eat so much?” You’ve only got yourself to blame because at that moment it all looked so good.

It looks so good and it was.
The next issue is trying to sleep after having nibbled your way into a night of discomfort. It’s easy to fall asleep but waking on and off as your digestive track is working overtime, even though it all looked so good.

Like most people that have had a little too much to drink would say having the Hair of the Dog (another drink) will help you through the day. (It actually just delays your body’s own attempt to detoxify itself.) In an attempt to overcome the sugar rush from the night before, you share the massive piece of birthday cake that was brought Home for breakfast. It actually starts to wake you up because you were on a downward curve the minute you got out of bed, just because it all looked so good.
Easily hung the Tree Ornament up in the lower branches.
Doing minor chores outside seemed to help burn some of those calories but there was little energy. After finding the other Tree Ornament we intended to use to keep the birds from nesting in our trees it barely took a minute to mount it fifteen feet up with the use a modified paint pole we borrowed from our son. So far we’ve only seen birds squawking at these distractions but none have attempted to stay very long.

Our neighbours Terry and Linda dropped in for a chat that brought back memories of the past and plans for the future. Even after having a much healthier lunch things were only starting to balance off to increase the energy levels considerably.
The planned chore for the day of reinstalling the Max-Air covers was re-examined and rather than turning on the Air Conditioner unnecessarily because the vents would have to be temporarily closed additional preparations mysteriously appear thus keeping our feet on the ground for another day. If that prep had taken place on the hot roof of the trailer it would have taken double the time it did while sitting comfortably on a patio chair. High temperatures for the next few days will mean having to turn on the A.C. in the morning but it was comfortable enough without it today.

For supper the Weber perfectly grilled a couple of Brisket Burgers to go with the Southwest flavoured Salad we had for the side. After completing the necessary outside chores for the evening, we sat enjoying the pleasant breeze and our little bit of heaven. That didn’t last too long because as soon we were soon noticed by another neighbour who came over to give his take on how the world around us should work.
We’ll see how much we can accomplish and what we’ll be doing as part of our Fulltiming Adventure. Besides tomorrow is Sunday and isn’t that supposed to be a day of rest? Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!
