Getting More Things Ready.

Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

After only the first night with the new CPAP mask I truly was not impressed and woke up more tired than when I went to bed. That unfortunately is how someone suffering from an Undiagnosed Case of Sleep Apnea would feel on a daily basis. With a few adjustments I’ll give it another try tonight. While having breakfast Kathy noted that my face didn’t look as red as the last few days.
We had an appointment at Fantastic Sam’s at 11:00 this morning for haircuts. We arrived earlier than needed and even though Jenna was dealing with another customer she still managed to have both of us transformed from Shaggy Dogs back to human beings within twenty minutes.
Since we had other errands to run we stopped at a local Subway where we used coupons to each enjoy a tasty sandwich and drinks for lunch at far less than normal price.
Our next stop was at Wildwood Golf and RV Park. We were there to notify them of our arrival date and to pay our rent for the next six months and to order Cable Television and Internet for our site. With all that included in the cost is less than what we would pay for three months of rent alone in the apartment. We also made arrangements to have a cement pad made for our shed (Extra) that we’ll use to store personal things when we are not at our site. Joe took note that the gravel was littered with branches from this past winter and uneven. We were told that would all be cleaned up and leveled before we brought our trailer in (Part of the service at no extra cost).
Our next stop was at Sun Parlour Trailer who we have dealt with for over ten years. We have some issues with the trailer that they are better qualified at fixing than I am. Cathy and Rob (The Owners) have always treat us as family and were happy to hear of our decision to Fulltime. When they heard that we’d be staying at Wildwood they said they could service the trailer right at the park so there would never be an issue of leaving it at their shop overnight. We’ll be calling them after the long weekend in May to have the issues dealt with at the park.
We were back at the apartment by 2:30. Kathy started getting more clothes ready to be taken to our trailer and Storage Unit. I was busy sorting the laundry before heading downstairs to the laundry room itself. The plan was to only have the linens and bath towels to wash after we have moved everything else out of the apartment. We already have different size linens in the trailer and we’ll simply put these into storage once they are clean.
We still have more food in our freezer than what will fit in the trailer freezer so for supper we enjoyed Perogies. Tomorrow we’ll see what else we can use up from inside the freezer and what else we can move from the apartment in an effort of beginning our Fulltime Adventure. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!

  1. Alas...single digits.
WOW...how great is that that they will come to you to service the RV. You hit pay dirt for sure.

  2. I find myself counting down the days with you, and wishing you luck. I always enjoy maps, so I checked to see where you'll be living too.
