What A Day This Turned Out To Be.

Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

After our usual morning routines we headed over to the New Belle River Arena to watch our grandson Tyler play hockey for 11:15. However when we got to the arena there was a notice saying the game had been rescheduled for an hour later. Tyler’s team was playing shorthanded as some of the more experienced players were away for family related reasons. It reflected in the score with the opposing team being the only one with any points on the board.

Even though our outside temperature today would be the high temperature for Ontario 63 F (17 C) the 45 mph wind gusts chilled you to the bone as well as practically knocking you off your feet. We had soup to warm ourselves up once we’d gotten home for a late lunch.

By mid-afternoon we called Staples to see when we could pick up Kathy’s new computer. After checking they said it was ready that all of her files had been transferred over from the old hard-drive. When we got there they basically handed us the new laptop in the box and said everything was good. At home Kathy started cooking supper in the Crock Pot while I started to organize her new laptop. I spent nearly an hour looking through any file location I could see without finding Kathy’s files. Kathy even gave it a try with no luck before we called Staples. We had to drive all the way back across town where the tech found the file in a folder, in a folder in another folder that we had been unable to access. He then created a shortcut on the desktop so we could find it again. If we had purchased this computer at SX Video everything would have been set up to look the way it had been on the old computer with no hair pulling guess work.
The score was not in favor of Tyler's team.

I have since spent all evening working to transfer Kathy’s files where she will be able to use them. There are still a few programming issues to work out but we’re working on them. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.
