More Progress And Getting Things Straightened Up.

Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

Even after our busy day yesterday and a cup of Sleepy Time Tea before going to bed Kathy had one of those nights where she couldn’t shut her train of thought down. I’d managed to get all my morning reading completed before she woke up.

Once we’d had breakfast Kathy did her morning reading while I manned the phone. We had a number of people that had left us messages but when I tried to contact them this morning I was playing phone-tag and only able to leave returned messages to them. Kathy had me pull out a storage container that contained extra CPAP supplies so that we could downsize the contents. While she was sorting through the container I received a call from our daughter Karen. She was calling from home where she’s been for the last couple of days because of a flu virus.  The problem was she’d just received a call from Tyler’s high school saying he was sick and needed a ride home. Since Kathy catches bugs very easily she stayed home while I drove out to pick up Tyler and bring him home.

Since there had been no return calls and I wasn’t going to wait around for one after lunch Kathy and I headed out to fix the problem. The first place we stopped at was Staples to pick up new ink cartridges for Kathy’s printer. Our next stop was the Medical Clinic I’d called three times this morning. Just to get test results I had to make an appointment for next week.

Next we stopped in at VitalAire. Last week when we picked up our CPAP supplies the hose they supplied for Kathy was not for a CPAP machine so they had to exchange it for the proper one.

We then stopped at Canadian Tire where we picked up a few supplies we needed and a pair of gel slippers that Kathy badly needed. On the way into the store we passed by a Hotdog Vendor and it smelled so inviting that on the way out we each had one and called it our early supper.

We had one more stop to make before heading home. We went over to our friends Kathie and Ross’s for a short visit and bearing gifts which consisted of things we are getting rid of as we get ready to Fulltime in the spring but all things that they can well use. We visited for nearly an hour before heading for home.

At the apartment I called SX Video to check on the status of my laptop. They were just finishing it off so maybe tomorrow we can pick it up. Since we had a hotdog for an early supper Kathy served us each an ice cream cone for a dessert to top it off. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!
