More Errands Towards Fulltiming.

Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

We managed to sleep fairly decent last night but when we got out of bed this morning we didn’t rush around the apartment opening all the windows wide. Watching the Weather Network they were showing a very comfortable temperature but when the wind gusts rattled the windows it sent a cold shiver throughout our bodies.

We needed to run a few more errands this morning starting at the Shoppers Drug Mart to pick up the prescription requests we’d put in yesterday. From there I dropped off a resume at a fabrication shop for some part-time work. Then we went back to the west end Walmart where we returned the bedcover we’d purchased yesterday. The sizing read that it was a Queen Size but it barely covered the top of our mattress. The game plan was to look for something we liked in a King Size fit. Kathy wanted something that would work with the décor of not only the apartment but in the trailer while we Fulltime. We left the west end Walmart empty handed.

We headed to the Walker Road shopping district where there were a number of stores that carried that kind of merchandise. We started at BonClaire but their designs were limited. At Home Outfitters they had something for the apartment or trailer but not both. Next we went to Jysk where they had the perfect patterns but they only carried up to Queen Size. Finally we stopped at Sears and they had just gotten in a new shipment after we had left yesterday. There were two patterns that caught our eye and after some discussion we made our choice and it didn’t cost much more than the one we returned earlier to Walmart

All that morning running around doing errands and we still managed to be home for a late lunch. We finished eating the Homemade Split Pea Soup for lunch before trying out our purchase. It fit our bed perfectly and we know that it will keep us nice and warm during the cold weather seasons that we will spend Fulltiming in our trailer.

We tried to call the Windsor Campground to see if we were lucky enough to have gotten a seasonal sight for next year but got an automated message saying that they were closed for the season. Kathy suggested that I drive over in case there was someone to talk to. When I arrived there were a couple of vehicles by the office but nobody was in sight. I was about to walk around when the skies opened up and delivered on the twenty percent chance of rain. Since I didn’t bring my raincoat I just headed home.

Watching the weather forecast on the 6 o’clock local News they are showing that our temperature will be dipping down to the freezing mark on the weekend. Sounds like a good chance to try out our new bedcover. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!
