Cleaning, High Winds and Tasty Leftovers.

Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

Even with the much lower night time temperatures in our area we have still been sleeping with the windows slightly ajar. With those lower temps also brings a higher amount of oxygen in the air so when we finally wake in the morning we are feeling well refreshed.

True to our thoughts after enjoying too much food for our Canadian Thanksgiving celebration all we had for breakfast this morning was a coffee which we sat at the computers to enjoy. After finishing our reading we had chores in mind that needed to be done. Even though we’ll be going Fulltime next spring Kathy wanted to clean the apartment draperies that will be put into sealed containers in the Climate Controlled Storage for use when we eventually come off the road. We worked together getting them off the rods and ready to be washed. As luck would have it there were few people downstairs in the laundry room and everything was put in the appropriate loads. While the wash was happening we gathered and cleaned things around the apartment.

There was only a single load put in the cool dry cycle to dry while the rest was brought back slightly damp to the apartment. That allowed Kathy and I to rehang the sheer curtains and lighter weight draperies with a light breeze blowing through the open windows they were thoroughly dry within minutes. We enjoyed more of the Homemade Split Pea Soup for lunch. Back at the dryer I still had to wait for it to finish. Again working together we rehung the lined drapes and valances to complete the job.
Thanks again Melissa and Kevin for a great
Thanksgiving Celebration.
The wind was blowing quite steady this afternoon with gusts that stung my face so the thought of attempting any further work on the car today was dashed. We’ve made a list of things to be accomplished tomorrow so we’ll be bust throughout the day. Once that is done we might actually start some packing. For supper we ate our take home package from yesterday’s buffet. Except for the salad everything tasted as good as it was yesterday. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.
