Apartment Questions, Errands and Lacrosse.

Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

We both managed to sleep soundly last night even though we were in bed by our normal time. We still slept until nearly 8:00 this morning. We must have really worn ourselves out lately or it could be the draining effect that the warm temperatures have on us when we go outside.
Tyler (Blue #3)
Our morning was only partially spent at the computers. As soon as the manager was in the office this morning I went to inquire what is happening with the new kitchen counter top that was to have been installed while we were away. We knew that it had only arrived the day before we got home but we hadn’t put things back on the counter yet. Boardwalk Corporation has acquired many more apartment buildings in the Windsor district lately but they haven’t increased the number of maintenance people to go with them. Instead they are over taxing their people they have which delays the renovation jobs. We should have a better idea by Wednesday. In the mean time we put everything back in our kitchen where it should be.

After lunch Kathy busied herself wrapping more Cxxxxxxxs gifts. I drove the car to the storage yard where I retrieved additional things from the trailer as well as dropping things off that we’d left behind for our trip to North Carolina. I also replaced the forward storage box door clip while I was there.

The sky had been quite overcast when I had left the apartment and had gotten much darker while I was at the trailer. On the way home I stopped to fill the car with gasoline. I wish the prices were close to what they are in the US. After making an additional stop at Shoppers Drug Mart I made it back inside the apartment just as the skies opened up.
Tyler checking an opponent.
We went to Wendy’s for supper. Using coupons we both enjoyed one of their full sized salads and a soft drink. We arrived just on time because as soon as we’d sat down to eat a steady stream of people started coming in. We took our time spending more than an hour to have our meal.
Tyler ( Blue #3) having just made a shot on net.
Instead of going home we headed to the Forest Glade Arena where our grandson Tyler was playing Lacrosse this evening. The team they were playing managed to pull some dirty moves without being caught every time. The opposing goalie also pulled a couple of shots that were over the line but since the referee was on the opposite side of the net he didn’t see that it was actually a goal. Tyler got one goal and an assist while there were additional goals made by his team it wasn’t enough to win the game. We also learned that the goalie for Tyler’s team injured himself on the weekend and won’t be back for the remainder of this season.
Again checking the opposing team.
We’ve had to stir the Jell-o this week and next in order to fit everything in with our plans. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!
