Getting Set Up.

Our Location today is Moore Haven, Florida, U.S.A.

After posting the blog last night we were only up long enough to have showers before going to bed. With the warmer temperatures and the windows wide open neither of us were awake once our heads hit our pillows. I was up by 7:00 but I busied myself programing the televisions and finding the News and Weather Channels before getting things ready to make breakfast. By 8:30 Kathy was up feeling much more refreshed and not suffering from any Sinus Congestion or Arthritis because of the warmer temps.

After breakfast we spent a short time reading on the computers before Kathy started reorganizing a few things in the pantry while I headed outside to start setting up our outside living area. Our intention was to set up our Gazebo with a solid paneled wall on the back to act as a sunshade and put the screen attachment on the front. By the time I’d sprayed for ants Kathy came out to help because she realized how big a job it was with the high winds that had suddenly kicked up. Before we stopped for lunch at 1:00 we had accomplished what we had set out to do plus we had removed the solid panel because the wind was trying to make a giant kite out of the Gazebo.

Once lunch was finished Kathy washed the dishes while I started wiring up our outdoor lights. With the temperature reaching a high of 86 F (30 C) again today with very low humidity it was taking its toll on the both of us. Rick and Elaine stopped by on their golf-cart for a brief visit and to invite us over to their place for another get-together with other friends after supper.

We were already packing it in for the day so after they left Kathy started making a nice Caesar Salad while I grilled a nice Sirloin steak that we share for supper.
Our Gazebo with only screen panels due to high winds.
We walked over around 7:00 where everyone was sitting in their outdoor screen room enjoying the fresh air and the company. One couple we had met last year but not the other couple. Of course the center of attention was Lily and Tucker but there was never a shortage of conversation. We said our good nights and headed home around 9:00 while everyone else kept the conversation going.
Another nice moon tonight.
There is still more to set up outside for tomorrow and the temps are again supposed to be above the norm for this time of year so we’ll try to get it done early. That will give us time to do other things to keep us and you entertained. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!
