Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.
Once again I was up by 5:30 this morning. After opening the
curtains and blinds in the other rooms I checked the weather reports then
thought that I’d see what else was on. I ended up watching a Christmas Special
that ended before Kathy woke up. As Kathy was starting to stir I got things
ready for our breakfast. Our morning temperatures were on the brisk side but by
later this afternoon they would climb above the freezing mark.
We sat at our computers to get our morning reading in and
accomplished a bit more planning. Karen stopped over to photocopy some
documents before heading home after going to Therapy this morning.
After lunch I headed over to pick up Kathie at her apartment
then headed to Metropolitan hospital to pick up Ross. He’d had a surgical procedure
done on Monday but wasn’t released until today due to bleeding at the site of the
surgery. I stayed with the car in the patient pick up area while Kathie went to
get him. This however took a little longer than anticipated because Ross
thought he could just walk out but was delayed because the room kept spinning.
He did have better skin tones than the last time that I’d seen him so we’re all
hoping that now his health will improve.
After making certain that Kathie and Ross were safely in
their apartment it was time for me to head towards home. That however meant
stopping at the Shopper’s Drug Mart along the way to pick up our winter supply of
medications that we’ll be bring with us when we leave for Florida in two weeks.
Back at the apartment Kathy had been busy cleaning the
kitchen counter top making certain to get any dust that might have gathered
behind the coffee maker and micro-wave. I got busy double checking the pill
counts to be sure that we weren’t being cheated. (Even though the pills are
counted by a machine it would not be the first time that the totals have been short.)
After supper we headed to Amherstburg to visit with our son
Kevin and daughter-in-law Melissa for our weekly visit. Normally we visit on
Wednesdays but due to school concerts and dental appointments we sometimes
change it up. As usual we had an enjoyable visit that is always filled with
laughter. Kevin has finally finished painting the family room and is about to
start laying a laminate flooring that will look like barn-wood when completed.
On our way home we had to stop for a Ride Check on 18
highway but all I had to report drinking this evening was two cups of Tea which
didn’t qualify me for a Breathalyzer Test. It took me by surprise because it
has been over a year since I saw these kind of checks but then Kathy and I realized
they’ll be around until well into the new-year. If you are going to drink alcohol
don’t drive. Take a cab or have a designated driver. The life you save may be
your own. The legal costs alone if you get caught driving under the influence are
not worth it.

Adcox who seems to be new to following RV blogs. Unfortunately Frank is not
showing a personal blog at this time but if I see a change in his profile I’ll
pass the information along in a shout-out so others can follow along as well. Thanks
