Still Recovering

Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

After sleeping like a couple of logs last night we both woke up within minutes of each other after 8:00 this morning. What actually woke us up was the sun shining brightly around the curtains in the bedroom. Sitting in the dining room and watching the Weather Channel while we had breakfast they again confirmed that the sunshine was a cover-up for the freezing temperatures outside.
By 9:00 we were both busy doing our morning reading on the computers. Shortly after 10:30 I had changed into my workout clothes in an attempt to restart my exercise routine that was put on hold due to my inner ear imbalance that started last Sunday night. I completed my cardio routine but only did certain weight training in order to avoid movement that could retrigger my Vertigo problems. I’ll just continue slowly increasing my workouts until I am certain that I’m safe and the condition has cleared up. Kathy is still feeling the effects of a cold/flu bug but is slowly recovering as well.
For lunch we finished the last of Kathy’s homemade chili she made this week which also helped to take the chill out of our bodies. We are keeping the heat turned down lower than we really need to so that when we go outside in the cold wind we don’t notice the difference as much.
We spent most of the afternoon and part of this evening watching Christmas Specials on television. It is only 34 days until Christmas arrives but we don’t have to worry about any shopping and if we are not feeling well we can relax. The only thing we have to do is accomplish things on our to-do list before we head south for the winter.
Tomorrow we should be waking up to freezing rain but by the time we head out in the afternoon the roads should be safe enough to travel. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!

One in four British commuters has fecal bacteria on their hands, according to a study conducted by the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. Researchers swabbed the hands of 409 random commuters at five train stations around the UK. Men in London had the cleanest hands, with just 6 percent harboring fecal bacteria.
