More Progress.

Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

Since the forecast was calling for much cooler temperatures we rethought leaving the windows wide open last night. Instead we chose to only leave our bedroom window slightly ajar and to close the rest of them. Even with the limited air coming in we both managed to stay covered because of the coolness until we got up around 8:00 this morning.

Watching the Weather Channel at breakfast we were surprised to see the temperature was only 41 F (5 C) at that early hour and our high would struggle to make it to 50 F (10 C) for the day. The heavy cloud covering and winds of 30 MPH (50 KMH) were getting the blame for the unseasonably low temps that we’d be experiencing this early in the Fall.

After doing our morning reading on the computers we drove back over to Walmart. In her organizing of the storage room Kathy found that she needed a couple more clear storage containers. With the sudden change in the weather it seemed that everyone was thinking that going shopping was the closest to any outside activities that they wanted to get. We extended our shopping to picking up some food stocks that we’ll be needing for tomorrow.

Back at the apartment after lunch Kathy finished organizing the storage room while I converted the living room into a workshop once again. I started laying down the plastic tarp before gluing a global map to a backing board. Because I didn’t bring home enough clamps I’ll have to wait to mount it to the frame.

After clamping it to set the glue I moved back to working on the trailer cart. There is a door that I’m making for it and somehow when I made the two shelves I made them too long which would push the door outside of its framing. To correct this I used my oscillating tool to cut back the shelves then to sand them smooth. Once I was certain the shelves were now the right size I assembled the door by using the brad nailer and glue.

It was after 5:00 before we had supper but the warm bowl of soup we had helped to take the chill out of our bones since the outside temperature only hit 48 F (9 C) today. Tyler didn’t have hockey today but does tomorrow and then we’re having an early Thanksgiving dinner family get-together. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!
