One Almost Ready.

Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

Even though it really wasn’t that warm last night it was easier for us to leave the Air Conditioner on because it was too hard to reach the windows. We still managed to sleep in until 8:00 this morning before getting up to have breakfast.

Kathy wanted to get right to her cleaning the washroom today so we didn’t even do any reading this morning. While she was doing her cleaning and organizing I once again spread out the tarp in the living room and started cutting more pieces of wood for our project for the trailer but this time I was cutting them from a full sheet of plywood.

For lunch we shared a sandwich with a bowl of soup trying to cut our calorie intake. We then both continued working away on our own chores. Kathy finally had a chance to read at her computer while I took the shop-vac to clean sawdust that had spread to the living room furniture. With the AC turned off and the vacuum in hand I took the time to clean the pollen that had built up on the outside cooling coils. I also hauled all the cut material out to the truck ready for when we go to Kevin’s house on Thursday and giving us back space in our apartment.
Now I just have to finish the Mudflaps.
For supper I helped chop some vegetables and chicken for Kathy to put into a stir-fry that she was making before going out to grill some nice spare-ribs on the Weber. That meal turned out to be a winning combination.

After doing the dishes we drove over to visit with our daughter Karen. When we arrived they were sitting out on the front porch enjoying the cooler temperatures. What happened next scared the heck out of all of us. As soon as Kathy and I got out of the car Sanford came darting across the road to greet us. Luckily there were no vehicles coming or he would have been badly hurt. We sat on the deck in the back yard visiting for nearly two hours. Karen explained that just before we had arrived people had ridden by on their bicycles and others had walked their dogs past the front of their house and Sanford had just sat there but because he knows we play with him and give treats he just bolted. Like I said it scared us all.
Sanford scared us by bolting across the road.
Tomorrow since it is only 110 days before we leave for Florida we have things to get organized, calls to make and places to go to. Tonight we’ll be sleeping with the windows open. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.
