Still Waiting.

Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

It was really unbelievable because for the second night in a row we slept in until after 8:30 in the morning. If we had not forced ourselves to get out of bed when we did we’d have probably slept later. It just felt like the morning was dragging and everything was moving in slow motion. By the time we had done our morning chores and reading we didn’t even think to eat lunch until after 1:00.

We were expecting our son Gary who lives in Welland to stop in this afternoon. When I had spoken with him at his in-laws on Sunday he guaranteed me they had to come back today. I tried calling his cell phone and in-laws repeatedly this afternoon to make certain that he was coming but only reached the answering machines each time. I grilled Johnsonville brats on the Weber for supper and it was after 5:30 by the time we finished washing the dishes before we left. No phone calls and no Gary.

Being that this was Wednesday we headed out to visit our son Kevin and daughter-in-law Melissa in Amherstburg. We had our usual fun visit talking about anything that came to mind but our grandson Cameron was also in a rare talkative mood tonight. He is actually looking forward to starting high school after Labor Day.

The weather forecast for the entire day for our area was for rain. The closest we got to that was lightning reflecting through the clouds on the drive home tonight. Tomorrow we have things to do and won’t be waiting around home. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.
