Different Ending.

Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

Again we both slept until 8:00 this morning. If it isn’t the fresh air it must be the cool air even if it is caused by the Air Conditioner that is making us sleep so soundly. Even after finishing breakfast and sitting at the computers it still felt like we had both been drugged.
We had our reading finished fairly early and started doing further research of places to go and where to stay when we head out on another adventure in May of next year. By the time lunch rolled around we simply reheated the last of the homemade Ham and Pea soup which still tasted great.
By mid-afternoon we were on our way down the Expressway towards the Devonshire Mall. Because this is construction season when the traffic started slowing down we made a quick exit to Walker road and drove through our old neighborhood to get where we needed to go.
The first stop was to Toys-R-us where we crossed a number of things off of our Shopping list. With only 125 shopping days left before Christmas we really think that we’ll be cutting it close this year because Kathy had finished all the gift wrapping by the 4th of August last year. She’s a little behind.
Once everything was secured in the truck we were planning on continuing our shopping in the air conditioned mall and then go see a movie afterwards. Online the earliest showing listed was for 7:00 tonight but when we walked through the theater lobby at 4:10 we noted the next showing was for 4:15. With a quick change on plans we saw the movie first.
The movie we saw was “If I stay” which covered the story of a young family that is involved in a terrible accident. The movie centers around the daughter who is a gifted Cellist and is near death. It flashes back and forth from happenings in the family’s lives a couple of years before the accident to immediately after. Those of us who have had near death experiences or who have lost loved ones can really relate to this movie. Kathy and I each gave it two thumbs up especially for the surprise way the movie ended.
After leaving the theater we found ourselves in the Food Court where we used another Taco Bell coupon to enjoy an inexpensive supper. Since we had already seen the movie now it was time to walk around the mall for exercise. Would you believe we even managed to scratch off another few Christmas Gifts from our shopping list. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!

  2. If Kathy is behind and it is only Aug. 23, I might as well hang it up. I will never make it....lol

  3. I'll have to watch for the movie on Dvd since we hardly ever go to a theater.
