Resolving, Visiting and Reprograming.

Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

I am guessing that it really doesn’t matter if the windows are open when you go to bed or if you sleep well or not. I think that if your body is tired enough you will sleep anywhere or anytime. Yes the fresh air we had yesterday while we were at the trailer and while we attended our grandson Matthew’s soccer game probably helped to make us tired but we had the AC on all night last night.

We slept so soundly that we were both awake shortly after 7:30 this morning. Watching the Weather Channel as we ate our breakfast they reinforced that we should expect rain throughout the entire day. The way the clouds filled the sky you could only believe what was being forecasted.

Once we’d completed our morning reading Kathy returned to her research for our travels for next year. I got on the phone with Greg the District Manager for the Verizon Florida Area. We spoke for quite a while until he was satisfied that he had enough information about our issue that he could resolve it and I was secure enough to trust him to putting it to rest. Once I was off the phone I was busy photo copying documents while Kathy wrote out some critical information.

We then had an early lunch so we’d could run an additional errand this afternoon. We had to stop at the post office to mail a registered letter to the US. There is more red tape doing that today then there ever was in the past.

Our next stop was to visit with our friends Kathie and Ross whom we haven’t seen or talked to since before we left for Florida in December. There definitely was no shortage of things to talk about from our travels to talking about the grandchildren to Ross’s job. We talked for nearly three hours before we said our good byes and headed off for more errands.

We stopped at the Tecumseh Mall where we were able to find the Tylenol Cold and Sinus caplets at the Shoppers Drug Mart. It seems those are the only meds that help us get rid of colds and it seems like no other store in the area carries them. Next we stopped at Walmart to cross a couple items off a list we need in 206 days.

For supper Kathy had defrosted some chicken for me to grill on the Weber. Imagine our surprised when we found them to be chicken strips. It was tricky because the wind was blowing so hard the lowest I could turn the heat down on the Weber was half way. Kathy barely had her salad finished when the chicken was completely cooked on the grill.

After supper and the dishes were finished we tried to watch the 6 o’clock News but we couldn’t. Remember the winds blowing so hard they caused me problems grilling but they also messed up our satellite reception. I had to call tech support so they could take me through step by step to reset the system. Not all their steps worked very well either.

Did you also remember the all-day rain we were supposed to get? The clouds were constant but we only got a few sprinkles of rain here and there. And they say weather forecasting has greatly improved. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!
