Researching and Cheering Another Athlete in The Family.

Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

We slept so well last night with the windows open that we slept in this morning. That fresh air can really get contagious. Even while we were having breakfast it was hard to focus on what the Weather Channel was forecasting for this next week.

Again we spent part of the morning at the computers but then we started cleaning our bicycles that we want to sell. We presently have two bikes each but we don’t have the chance to use the ones at the apartment. They were also using a better part of our balcony where we stored them. When we leave to go south in the winter we then have to store them inside our dining room on a tarp. Like many other things we have gotten rid of it will give us more space and less Stuff to deal with. If we want to go cycling after they are gone we’ll simply use our bikes from the trailer.
Kathy's E-bike she wants to sell.
Kathy has continued in her research of places we will be visiting on our return trip from Florida next April. I updated my data spreadsheet that I only caught up on last week. Just ignoring it for a day causes a lot of work catching up again. I’ve also been wanting to purchase another Canon DSLR so that I can set it up with a larger telephoto lens. I want to stay with the same model I presently have so that I’ll be certain everything will be interchangeable. So I have also been keeping my eyes glued to what is out there on E-Bay at a reasonable price.

Since we have only been Weber Q converts for the last year I am still learning how to grill different things. For supper I again did a Salmon Fillet tonight but it didn’t seem as well done as the last one I grilled a few days ago. However combined with the Asparagus and garlic noodles that Kathy made inside it was still a great tasting supper.

As soon as the supper dishes were finished Kathy and I hauled a few thing to the truck we wanted to bring back to the trailer. We also needed to grab our camping chairs out of the car to bring with us and they weren’t going in the trailer.
Matthew's team at practice before the game.
After everything was put away in the trailer we headed over to the old Ford Test Track. Since Ford’s had not used the test track for years they donated it to the city as a Sports Field for local children’s teams to use. That was where we planned on using our chairs. Our Grandson Matthew joined a soccer team and that is where the games are held. It’s also a learning experience for Matthew as he had never played organized sports before. Unfortunately as most junior teams they are not all evenly matched so even though Matthew as a defender blocked a number of shots the other team managed to outscore them 3-1. You did great Matthew!
Matthew (the shortest one on his team) blocking a shot on goal.
Unfortunately the Humidity is supposed to get high tomorrow so we’ll be turning the Air Conditioning on before going to bed tonight. There is still plenty of things that need to get done before we go to White Lake Michigan this coming Thursday. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!

  1. I'll bet your humidity isn't as high as ours! That meal looked real good to me.

  2. Tell Mathew to hang in there. Our girls played on a soccer team about his age and list every game for an entire year. They turned out just fine.
