This Was Different.

Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

All this running around that we’ve been doing all week has finally taken a positive effect on me. I had no problem at all sleeping again last night however it was Kathy who was up early this morning. Even though she slept fairly solid throughout the night by her getting up shortly after 7:00 she didn’t feel rested and felt tired the rest of the day.

Once we’d had our breakfast we headed straight for the computers. Kathy again said that her laptop had never run this smoothly and was very happy with the service that Dillon at Sx-Video had performed. After I packed away the standby laptop Kathy started her spring cleaning of our file cabinet. This is a chore that seems to be getting smaller and smaller each passing year now that we no longer have receipts from when we owned the house. As my part of that clean up I run all those files through the paper shredder so that it can be recycled.

Back on the computers Kathy is once again researching things for us to see and do while we are away next winter. Even though we will be returning to slightly familiar areas there is still a lot that we didn’t get a chance to see. We are also considering a change in the direction that we’d be returning home once we leave the Keys. Myself I was busy collecting data for my spreadsheet when suddenly after an hour a message appeared saying that there was a problem with the site to please try again later.

By then it was lunch time so we had the last of the salad and sliced baked potatoes from the other night along with more of the chicken that I had grilled on the Weber. It felt good having a home cooked meal while we watched the Weather Channel so we could see what the weather will be like for this next week.

After lunch Kathy was back to doing her research while I started uploading all the pictures that we took while we were away this winter. That took the better part of the afternoon before I could start rotating the portrait shots as well as deleting the food pictures from the album. Doing this only when I have time between other chores I might be done before we leave for Indiana on Friday.

Kathy shocked me when she suggested we go out for pizza for supper but when she told me we had a gift card for Boston Pizza my mouth started to water. Kathy doesn’t have pizza that often because of her diabetes and the carbs in a pizza raises her sugar levels so it has to be a special pizza for her to suggest it. At Boston Pizza our favorite is the medium sized Tuscan pizza with just the right amount of seasoning a light crust and goat cheese and it was more than enough to satisfy the both of us.
When we left Kathy was still looking for her closet organizer so we swung around to the Canadian Tire store at our end of town. This store is less than half the size of a Walmart but we still got plenty of walking in. We actually found an organizer that Kathy is certain will do the trick for her along with a few other things for the apartment the trailer and her bicycle.

We were back home on time to watch the 6 o’clock News but as we were about to shut the television off the programming went crazy. It took nearly forty-five minutes for me to get it working back the way it should.

Tomorrow we’ll be busy helping the kids so we’ll definitely have something different to talk about in tomorrow’s post. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.
