Walking off Thanksgiving.

Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario.

It seems that sleeping with the windows slightly open at night is having a nasty effect on us. We’re sleeping like logs. Again we slept soundly all night and didn’t wake until after 8:30. It’s a good thing that we’re retired or we’d have been late for something.

After breakfast we were back reading E-mails and Blogs on the computers until it was time to call General RV about what was happening with our trailer. Sid the service rep had been away on vacation last week so he took my phone number and said he’d call back in less than fifteen minutes. Five minutes later he called back telling me what was already done, what has been ordered for our repairs and what they are waiting to hear back from Keystone about. He also assured me that he’d be calling me back by the weekend to give me a progress report.

For lunch Kathy and I had a much smaller version of the Thanksgiving dinner we had yesterday. As is the tradition everyone that attends brings something to add to the meal and they also take home some leftovers to enjoy another day. It tasted just as good today so Kathy and I actually celebrated the Canadian Thanksgiving on the proper day.
With all that eating we needed to burn off some calories so Kathy and I decided to walk over to our daughter Karen’s home a mile away. The air was cool and crisp with the breeze coming from the North but by the time we arrived Kathy needed to sit for a rest. Karen unfortunately had gone shopping, Greg was at work, Kylla had worked an early shift and was sleeping so we visited with Tyler and Sanford. Kathy and Tyler went online to our blog and he was happy to see the pictures I had added to yesterday’s post.

After the return trip home Kathy was feeling ill and needed a Snap to rest up. I returned to working on her two laptops and finally got things running the way they should. For supper we cleaned the last of the Split Pea Soup that Kathy had made earlier this week.

For tomorrow we will be busy but I do know that I won’t be sitting at the computer all day. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!

  1. Nothing like a couple Thanksgiving dinners to get your fill, then lots of exercise to work if off.
