What's Happening.

Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario.

Yes we’re definitely getting very relaxed being around the apartment. We both slept soundly and woke up feeling totally refreshed. Our breakfast this morning was coffee and toast with Maple-Butter which helps give us a change of taste. The Weather Channel showed that we could have spotty showers this morning with some sunshine later in the day.

After doing our usual morning reading on the computers Kathy started examining how I had transferred the files from the cabinet to her desk the other day. She was basically pleased because I’d not disturbed their order but she also realized that she still needed to do further purging of files that are no longer necessary to hold onto. By the time she was ready to stop for lunch it was my turn to exercise the paper shredder to keep those old files very private.

With lunch completed we went back to the computers where we both had our own form of research to carry out. Kathy was back to researching parks that we’ll stay at on our way home from Florida next April where I continue to find fuel stops and other data I need for my spreadsheets.

For supper we had hot chicken sandwiches with potato salad topped off with frozen yogurt covered with fruit salad for dessert.
Since this is Sunday night we went for our almost weekly visit with our daughter Karen and her family. Even though tomorrow is the last day off of school for the kids it will also be a chaotic night so we chose to keep the visit on the normal night. We heard about Tyler’s trip with a friend’s family where they went away for a week of fishing in Northern Ontario. We also learned of Kylla’s upcoming follow-up surgery on her knee from the skiing accident she had last year. Karen is starting a new job at the University of Windsor this fall so that will also be a learning experience.

Getting home just before dark we were finally able to see something we never saw all day. The Sun. Yes it finally came out just before setting for the day. The prediction for tomorrow is cooler temperatures with plenty of sunshine which is a great way to end a weekend. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!
