STUFF.

Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

Well it was Kathy’s turn to have a restless night while I slept fairly well but it didn’t matter as we were both dragging when we got up this morning. After a quick breakfast of Raisin Bran we were both in high gear doing our separate jobs. I started sorting the laundry while Kathy started finding things to purge in the office.

Kathy and I have talked about this before we need to be getting rid of things we no longer use now that we’re living in the apartment. We had to do the same thing when we were living in our house by having garage sales and even donating what didn’t sell just to rid ourselves of STUFF.

Even when we first moved in the apartment we found out we still had too much STUFF and had to purge even more before we were comfortable. Now we want to downsize even more so our daughter Karen has offered us the use of her driveway to have a Garage Sale in June.
Bacon, Eggs and Hashbrowns for lunch.
After lunch when I finished the laundry I started taking shelves off the walls that Kathy had emptied and said we didn’t need any more. She has managed to fill quite a few boxes already and she plans on going from room to room purging more STUFF to make our lives that much easier.

The apartment repairman showed up just after 8:00 in the morning to change a faulty light switch we have in our storage room. I told him if he left the part I’d change it so I also fixed it this afternoon. I also finally got the last of the working spreadsheets I had been creating completed and tested today. Now I have other files to sort through and organize during the time I’ll be recovering from my surgery and backing up the computers.
Spinach Linguini and Barbecued Pork Chops for supper.
Homemade Apple Cobbler
Now Kathy and I will be able to work together at purging STUFF in the mornings and enjoying adventures in the afternoons. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!

  2. I swear stuff multiplies in the corners when you turn your back.

  3. Always stuff to get rid of. When living in our RV there is no extra room to accumulate, makes it pretty easy.

  4. We just down sized from a 32' aerbus to a 23ft Freelander. We HAD to downsize. We got rid of half the STUFF, looked at what was left and realized we had to get rid of half that STUFF again. We've done that three times in our house also and still have STUFF to get rid of.
