Coming Together Day.

Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

Last night was my night to be awake most of the night while Kathy had a better night’s sleep than she did on Tuesday night. We were still up before 8:00 and finished breakfast and moved to the computers by 8:30.
Minutes later I was calling Sun Parlour Trailer in Amherstburg to verify they had found the paperwork that I had dropped off after hours for our trailer so that they’ll add it to the insurance claim. I had no sooner hung up the phone with them when it started ringing. The transmission shop was calling to inform us they had just road tested the car and it was now ready to be picked up. Since we had an outing planned for this afternoon we just added the car to the list and kept on working on the computers until it was time for lunch.
Cleaning up the last of the meat pies, egg rolls and salad for lunch.
Leaving the apartment around 1:00 we were happy to see the flowers starting to blossom in the apartment’s flowerbeds. Kathy was also very happy to see her car sitting outside the transmission shop when we arrived unlike the pieces she saw it in the other day. Despite the weight loss she experienced paying the repair bill she said it drove like it did when she first bought it.
Back at the apartment I finally solved the problem I was having with my working spreadsheet and managed to get at least nine of the twelve equations written before it was time for us to leave at 3:00. We were heading out towards Essex for two reasons this afternoon. One was we stopped at SX-Video to pick up my laptop that is now virus free with an upgraded program so I’m looking forward to trying it out.
Next we were heading to the home of Jack and Sue who are Jennifer’s parents just the other side of Essex. Our son Gary and daughter-in-law Jennifer and all the grandchildren were in town visiting there for two reasons. Our granddaughter Emma agreed to perform at a concert at the Essex High School with the main theme being to end Bullying in schools. She received a standing ovation! The second reason was so we could celebrate our grandson Trevor’s birthday but at the last minute he couldn’t make the trip.
Jennifer’s sister Melissa and her husband Dean also showed up for a visit so we still had an enjoyable visit talking of what everyone is up to and then topping it off with pizza and a salad that Kathy had brought to share with the meal. After supper the grandchildren wanted to walk down to the Ice Cream Parlour a few doors away after 7:00 so Kathy and I said our good-byes and safe travels to everyone and headed for home.
Cloudy sunset Tonight.
Since our route home took us up Manning Road into Tecumseh as were about to turn onto Tecumseh Road there was our granddaughter Kylla waving to us as she was walking Sanford around the block. Everyone we know always tell us they can spot our truck from a block away. With Kylla waving the way she was it must be true. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.
