Catching Up.

Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

After having a decent night’s sleep on Saturday night last night was just the opposite. For me it was just my mind that wouldn’t stop thinking so to solve that problem I went back to my computer cleaning out the duplicated or useless pictures in other words STUFF. For Kathy it was the arthritic pain that made it impossible to stay comfortable throughout the night. Because her doctor wants to do some tests she has made Kathy stop taking her Arthrotec and has her using Tylenol which is not doing the job. We both slept until after 9:00 this morning.
Kathy received an E-mail this morning from a woman interested in buying her antique drum table saying she’d call later this afternoon. Strangely this woman actually did show up and not only bought the table but saw some of the things we have gathered for the garage sale and bought a few of them as well.
This afternoon I continued cleaning more STUFF again from my computer and was quite surprised that when I checked I have cleared out over 27 gigabytes of memory off my C-drive and there is still more that I’ll get rid of. With the lack of sleep and pain that she is experiencing Kathy needed another Snap (short nap) this afternoon.
I wrote in our post the other day of the new Hub System that we purchased for our internet and phone I mentioned that it can be used in our trailer anywhere we travel in Canada as well as our home base. What we use when we travel in the USA is a Verizon MiFi which only works for our internet needs. That system was first suggested to me by Rick Doyle from Rick & Paulette's RV Travels and then when we were in Florida this winter Rick and Elaine Cochrane  from E & R’s Travels also recommended the same system for our US travel needs. We use a Trac Phone with prepaid minutes purchased at Walmart and that works just fine for our phone needs as we can call Canada as well as anywhere in the US with no long distance charges.
When we went to prepay our month’s service at Verizon one of the salespeople did try to get us to take a system the same as what we now have but it is only usable in the US and is through a contract. Gayle and Joe from good-times-rollin seem to think this is a booster but it is not. This is a wireless internet device that allows you to connect a home phone to it. I also mentioned that the Canadian plan graduates according to usage where the material we have on the Verizon system showed they have different packages and if you went over you usage you would pay the penalty.
Since we had to wait for the woman to come for the table today we were once again held captive in the apartment but no that is all done tomorrow will definitely be a more active day. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!
