Blogger Does It Again.

Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

This morning I started reading the blogs by 6:30 and had finished reading them and looking at the upcoming weather forecasts when right at 8:00 the contractor’s jackhammers started and Kathy came running out of the bedroom. It didn’t take long for us to finish our breakfast and head out the door to run a list of errands.
First we went to Kathy’s doctor’s office to pick up her calcium pills that no other pharmacy seems to carry.
Kathy getting her Calcium pills.
The next stop was Shoppers Drug mart to pick up multi-vitamins that both Kathy and I take. We had stopped at two other stores the other day but each store only had one container so it took three stops to get what we’d need for three plus months.
Me getting the last of our Vitamins for the trip.
Since it was next door we opted to have a light and early lunch at the golden arches.
Yesterday Dominion Collision called to say the car would be ready by 11:00 but we didn’t show up until 12:30. It was a good thing because the window vent cover had been damaged in the break-in and had only just arrived before we did.
Car door looking good as new.
Kathy drove the truck out to Kevin and Melissa’s in Amherstburg while I took the car to the gas station to top off the tank before following her out there. The kids offered to park the car in their yard while we are gone so we don’t have to worry about it. I also dropped off the wooden ramps that I had the trailer parked on and picked up the trailer battery that Kevin had charged for us. Of course Melissa had made a snack spread because they knew that this would be the last time we’d see them before we leave. It was delicious and oh so tempting she always sets a nice table.

After leaving with lots of hugs and kisses we traveled back to the Guardian Storage Yard. We stopped there so I could install the trailer battery and install the towing brush that will protect the trailer from road debris when it’s being towed.
Kathy caught me just as I finished installing the road debris brush.
We made a quick stop at Karen and Greg’s to say our see you later. Unfortunately Karen wasn’t home from work yet and Kylla was at Physiotherapy but we still got our hugs and goodwill gestures from Greg and Tyler.
Tyler and Greg saying good bye.
Back at the apartment we received a quick visit from Bill and Vera who we had traveled with last summer wishing us the best on our upcoming trip. By the time they left we didn’t feel like cooking super so we used another gift card we got for Christmas and had supper at the Michigan Diner.

With only 2 days before we leave for Florida things are really starting to move fast now. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!

Office Jokes, Quotes, and Anecdotes

Rob: OK. I'm off to work.

Bucky (his cat): Again? Didn't you just go there a few weeks ago?

Rob: Where do you think I go every day?

Bucky: I don't know. Odor therapy?
The Swiss Institute for Dumb Guy Research?
The Shiny Monkey Electrolysis Center?
I don't pry.

  1. Do you have extra space for photos? You may have exceeded the 1gig free space provided by blogger.

  2. You need to resize all your images to a maximum of about 2000 pixels wide. You will then be able to post them. I will look up the post by Rick that explains it all. :-)

  3. I found a 2009 post. Not sure that it is the right one, but it may help. I don't use Picasa so just resized them all with Photoshop Elements. I made the longest edge 2000 pixels with the aspect ratio preserved.

  7. Like others have said, you may have exceeded your Google 1GB free storage limit.

Instead of paying for more Google storage, you could simply join Google+ for free and with it gain access to unlimited free storage of all your photos. The only limitation on that is the longest edge of the photo must not exceed 2048 pixels - which is no hardship really.

  9. Sometimes it takes me awhile to get things done like reading your post. But I am sure I will enjoy it once I finish. :(
I to am having trouble posting pictures since last night. OFM Barney started having trouble the night before. He found out how to make it work but I only was able to post one. Blogger is always trying to fix things that aren't broken.
Maybe if you look at Barneys post you can get more out of it than I did. Good Luck

  11. I swap to html mode to post the pics. Then swap back to the original mode to clean up the blog and get it posted. Google is having trouble. I am only up to 9% of my allowable in Picassa. An internet search showed that thousands of folks are now having that trouble since the last Google improvement.
