Beautiful Relaxing Day

Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

After another reasonable night’s sleep we were both up shortly after 8:00 to a bright sunshine day. The temperatures continue to stay close to the norm for this time of year which is a pleasant change from the few weeks that we were experiencing the below seasonal temps.
Wisconsin Dells Duck Tour.
I was out the door shortly after 9:00 this morning heading to the Canadian Blood Services (formerly the Red Cross). Today was donation 81 for the gift of life. I was surprised when I walked in how busy they were. More and more people are starting to get the message of how important blood is in saving lives. Unfortunately a couple of people were turned away due to the fact that they were taking Antibiotics at the present time and that is a No-No.

Once I was finished there I needed to go to the Credit Union and again the place was packed. Another lineup to stand in but it did move along fairly quickly.

I walked in to the apartment just on time for lunch. Today we finished the leftover pizza from last night’s supper at Pizza Hut. While our lunchtime conversation Kathy mentioned that she had been vacuuming while I was out. That’s what she calls taking it easy when her doctor told her not to work her arm. She says she used her left arm not the injured one. Right!

This afternoon I spent updating data entries that somehow I managed to missed out on but some I had to wait. As I stated the other day I sadly put the trailer on the wooden boards we park it on which means we won’t be taking it out until January when we leave for Florida. This year alone we towed our trailer a total of 5,612 miles and we are only Part-time RVers.

This evening we met Karen and Greg downtown at the Capital Theater to attend a performance of the Nutcracker. Our oldest granddaughter Ashley was performing the part of the Sugar Plum Fairy. She has been in dance since preschool and has worked very hard at this because it is something she truly enjoys. She was absolutely wonderful.

The temperature sure dropped by the time we left the theater and we thoroughly enjoyed a nice warm mug of hot chocolate when we got home. Made us feel as if there was less than 37 days until Christmas. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!

  4. Excellent picture of your granddaughter. We are fulltime and only put about 8,000 to 9,000 miles a year on our coach, mainly because we don't have to keep coming back to home base.

  5. What an honor for Ashley. She looks beautiful, and I am sure she worked extremely hard for that honor. Please pass along our congratulations.
