Wonderful Shopping Day.

Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

I slept last night! A statement like that would have many people saying to themselves this person must be nuts we all do. Both Kathy and I have a medical condition called Sleep Apnea. This means that we stop breathing in our sleep and use a machine every night to increase our odds of waking up above the sod in the morning. Unfortunately one of the side effects of Sleep Apnea is Insomnia.
That web was made while we had lunch
People don’t realize the importance a good night’s sleep has on their body. When we sleep our bodies use less Oxygen slowing our heart-rate and other bodily functions. What happens with the extra Oxygen that our body is producing is it increases its levels in our blood which also revitalizes our other organs that help our bodies to function on a daily basis.
This morning I awoke refreshed and invigorated. After breakfast we were off to do some serious grocery shopping. By the time we returned it was past lunch time. Our refrigerator and pantry were refilled at the same time as our wallet became much lighter.
Once everything was put away and we’d eaten lunch we again headed out. I washed the vehicles on Friday but they quickly lost their shine. We Stopped at Canadian Tire and picked up some car wax so while the weather is decent later this week I’ll add to their protection and appeal.
With that purchase out of the way we headed back to Walmart. Since there is only 86 days left before Christmas we are continuing with our quest to beat the last minute shoppers. Other than the purchases we made today most of those gifts are already wrapped.
We made a quick stop at the storage yard where I pulled the plug on the fresh water tank and opened the facets to drain the water lines in preparation of getting the trailer winterized.
By the time we got home it was time to start making supper and while I got the barbecue readied Kathy hand made our own Kabobs for me to grill. Once they were in the grilling mode she continued making a Greek salad and a wonderful Blackberry Parfait. She was amazed at the size of these Ontario grown berries saying she had never seen any this big before. I guess Texas isn’t the only place that grows things big.
As our evening winds down we already have all kinds of things planned that will keep us busy tomorrow. Thanks for following along with us and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.

  2. I know that Sleep Apnea is not a fun thing my son-in-law has it. Wow those are big berries. My dad use to make good blackberry wine out of fresh berries.
