Quiet but Productive Day.

Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

We both managed to have an improvement in the quality of sleep we had last night but the quantity was a different story. It seems that we are hardly able to keep ourselves awake late enough for our normal bedtime. Yet as soon as we lay down our bodies seem to awaken and then the tossing and turning begins.
After breakfast Kathy was double checking some of our reservations that she made for next winter’s trip south. She surprised herself when she realized that a couple of the reservations had not been finalized.
This will be our first time ever as Snowbirds and we are being cautious not to overdo our trip. Even though we will be heading to Florida next January our plans are not to sit in one spot and vegetate for the time we plan on being down there. After having followed so many other RVers and their travels we want to explore this winter playground. Our plans also include possibly going to a different part of the Southern U.S. each year that we travel throughout the winter. We do prefer to investigate and not be bored with our surroundings. There is way too much to see and do.
Today I was in contact with the Keystone Manufacturing Customer Service. Our outside kitchen fridge on our trailer had a problem and the dealer told Kathy and I that Keystone would not cover it. When I told this to Dave in Customer Service he denied that saying the product was put in a trailer that they had built so there would be no question that it would fall under Keystone Guarantee. I also informed Dave of other problems we had with the trailer and how I had corrected them. He even gave me his personal extension number so if I had any further problems just to call him directly.
Once that call was finished I immediately called the RV dealer and shocked them with the news. So they knew I wasn’t pulling a scam I passed along Dave’s extension so they could hear the news from the horse’s mouth themselves.
The rest of our day was spent doing more research plus reading about other RVer’s adventures and dreaming of the future on the road. We are now 15 days before our next adventure in September and looking forward to it plus it is only 126 days left until Christmas Day. Have you started your shopping yet? We have! Be Safe and Enjoy! Thanks for following our adventures.
