Early Appointment

Our Location Today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

This morning I had to bring our granddaughter Kylla to have an M.R.I. done on her knee she injured while away on a Springbreak ski trip. The M.R.I. was for 9:00 am and didn't take long at all so after I dropped her off at school and came home it was before 10:00 am. The only problem was that whenever we set the alarm clock for what ever reason Kathy and I both keep waking throughout the night looking at the clock. Last night was no exception so we were both tired before we got out of bed.

There were light showers this morning but by lunch time gave way to high winds that reach above 62 mph (100 Kph). These winds are part of the same storm system that brought all the Tornados to the central U.S. states. It was not a day for outdoor activities of any sort so after lunch Kathy took a short nap to catch up on her lost sleep while I continued researching our fuel stops on our trip to and from Wyoming this Summer.

After dinner Kathy called Karen our daughter to hear what the doctor's report was on Kylla's knee. She will be seeing an Othopedic Surgeon in the next few weeks to schedule surgery to repair a torn A.C.L. That means she tore the Ligament that holds her knee together and has to be graphed from another Ligament. Her down time will be six to eight weeks healing time and therapy when ready as approved by the doctor. For a kid that's active in sports at school that could be it for the rest of this year.

The wind finally slowed to a light breeze which is much more seasonal. Talking of seasonal I best start getting my work done soon as there is only 65 days until the start of Summer which means Kathy and I will be on the road in just 48 days. Be Safe and Enjoy!

It's about time.

Krackers

Why did the dinosaur cross the road?

Because chickens hadn't evolved yet.

  1. We're the same way. If we know we have to be up and going early, we're awake half the night waiting for the alarm clock to go off. It's no fun. Sorry about the need for surgery on the knee. That's not fun for an active girl.

  2. Sorry to hear that your granddaughter has to have surgery. :( Sounds like she will be having a low-key rest of the school year.

A trip to Wyoming sounds awesome! I am so looking forward to seeing the sights out west. :) Is that the trip you are starting in 48 days?
