Wet Warmer Windy Day

Our Location Today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

Just looking at the title will tell you exactly the kind of day we had. When the clock display read 8:00 am this morning and it was very dim in the bedroom it seemed so strange. Upon opening the curtains it was very unclear whether it was heavy cloud covering and a very steady rainfall coming down. After viewing the weather channel during breakfast we knew this was not a promising day for outside activities. Plan B called for reading on the computers until lunchtime then cleaning and laundry.

Right after lunch was finished I was off with our load of dirty clothes while Kathy performed her usual magic and cleaned the apartment. The laundry room was empty but I still managed to be delayed about 45 minutes before I could start the wash because of people I know stopping in to talk and getting between me and the washers. It was a good thing I started when I did because suddenly the place was packed. I checked out the mail and then went back to read and wait for the laundry. Instead today I read addresses that Kathy gave me to enter into the GPS for our upcoming travels this year. After more than two dozen entries the GPS informed me the battery power was too low to continue. Just when it was starting to help scratch that Hitchitch!

Right after I got back Kathy took a break from doing more research to make supper while I put the clean clothes away. While eating supper the rain finally stopped and the sun kept trying to break through the clouds. The weather channel was reporting a temperature of 61 F (16 C) as our high for the day with the warning of a high wind advisory for tonight and early morning.

A comment from Shoeless Joe about our post yesterday; I've got to know, is watching frost melt off the car the northern equivalent of watching grass grow? John you should know that whether it's the grass growing or the frost melting it's all about waiting for the time to be just perfect so we can do what we need to do. It is amazing how easy it is to coin a phrase without even thinking of doing so. Thanks John!

Tomorrow's high is being predicted to be the same as it was today minus the clouds, the wind and the rain in all a beautiful day. With weather that keeps having more ups then downs the next 8 days are really looking promising to the start of Spring. Be Safe and Enjoy!
