Cold Weather Savings..

Our Location Today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

Again the sun was shining beautifully this morning when we got up. The only problem was the below freezing  indicator on the Thermometer. We knew that we needed to run some errands today so we busied ourselves making lists and gathering things for the recycle. After reading some E-mails and blogs Kathy went to do some reading. I used this time to get a good workout in before lunch.

Right after lunch we headed out for our errands but as soon as we opened the door the wind kept trying to push us back in. Once we finally got outside we were curious why the thermometer said it was finally above freezing but it sure didn't feel like it..

Our first stop was Shoppers Drug Mart. They were having a Daylight Saving Sale! (An any Holiday sale or if there isn't one make it up Sale) Even though I'm being critical of the commercialism by just purchasing what we needed without overstocking, we saved well over a hundred dollars. Cool! We still had more to find from on our list so we headed over to the Tecumseh Mall where we managed to find the rest of our needed items and save a few more Dollars. While we were walking around we ran into Rene who is another person I used to work with until the Plant was closed. We had a few laughs over things that used to happen in the plant plus talking of what we've been doing since the last time we met.

Even though the temp was still rising by the time we got home the wind was still bity and making you wonder how much s--- we were going to get. Once we were finished our supper dishes and I was done the Daucets we are finally getting caught up after a busy day.

A quick reminder to those of you who may have forgotten that tomorrow we change to Daylight Savings Time so make sure you turn your clocks ahead before going to bed. Hopefully tomorrow's warmer temperature will not have the high wind attached so that I can go do a few things on the trailer. Many of our friends are actually catching a springtime Flu virus but I've been told that Kathy and I have a bad case of Hitchitch and it's getting worse now that spring is only 10 days away. Be Safe and Enjoy!
It's about time.

Dad: "Give him Granny."
