This is January?

Our Location Today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

Other than waking up this morning still feeling stuffy with a sinus cough things are slowly getting back to normal.
While having breakfast at nine this morning the phone started ringing, it was our granddaughter Kylla. She was walking home from a sleep-over at one of her girlfriends and decided to stop over for a visit. She wasn't her usual self claiming that she had only about 45 minutes of sleep all night because the rest of the girls wanted to stay up to talk. Kathy started teaching Kylla how to make homemade Date cookies.

Our truck is in the upper left corner
After Karen our daughter picked up Kylla I looked outside and was amazed at what the thermometer was reading at noon so I took a picture so nobody could dispute the 66 degree (19 C) weather. While I had my camera out I heard a familiar voice overhead and surprised Gant when I called out a greeting to him. We spoke for a short time about a problem he was having with his computer. Grant and I used to work in the same plant but he had retired at least 12 years ahead of me.
My Friend Grant lives directly over our apartment.
I walked accross the street to the Post Office to mail some letters and went next door to take some pictures for my friend Ross. Upon returning Grant was still having problems transferring a program from his PC to his laptop. We tried different things and if it had been data it would have worked but because it was a program it just wouldn't work.
Northwest Texas in July 2008.
We spent the night Rocking and Rolling inside our trailer.
The rest of the afternoon Kathy and I just mellowed watching a Storm Chaser marathon on satellite and moved to the office and our PCs after supper. Even though we know spring is only 72 days away after visiting the trailer yesterday and reading blogs we follow today we are definitely getting a bad case of Hitch-Itch.
It's about time.

Krackers

A boy at a cinema notices what looks like a bear
sitting next to him."Are you a bear?" he asks.
"Yes." Answers the bear.
"What are you doing at the movies?"
"Well”, says the bear, “I liked the book!"

  1. the 72 days will pass by quickly and you will be off and in the trailer :)...seems the only cure for Hitch-Itch is to roll it down the road...
